Already have a document going out under your name?
Want us to check your work?
Upload a finished document and we run the most skeptical review we can build against it. Every finding quotes your document so you can check it yourself, and the review tells you what it did and didn't examine.
Your first review is free. Reviews after that are $49 each.
Findings show on your screen only. Nothing is published or shared.
What it looks for
Figures whose own components imply a different number
A margin, a total or a rate that the figures printed beside it do not produce. We run the arithmetic the document invites and show both numbers.
Statements that don't agree with each other
A record on one page and a higher earlier figure on another. Every pair is quoted, with the page each half came from.
Figures with no identifiable source
A number that appears with no calculation, citation or table behind it anywhere in the document.
Leftover drafting artifacts
Placeholders, duplicated paragraphs, orphan headings and references to sections that are not there.
How it works

We read it the way the hardest reader in the room would
Section by section: every figure against the figures printed around it, every statement against the others near it, and every finding quoted back to the page.
- 3
You get the review letter
Every finding quotes the page it came from, and the letter says what it did and didn't examine.
Review letter · excerpt
The five campus tables on pages 23 to 27 head one column as a percentage of the market median and fill it with signed variances, while the summary tables call that same column
Variance to Median. A reader moving between the two will take them for different measures.
From a review of a 27-page public compensation study. The parties are not named here; the finding reads as the review wrote it, with the one column heading that named them paraphrased.
Every finding carries
- The quote
- The words from your document, verbatim, so you can find them.
- The page
- Where each half of a pair sits.
- What it means
- One plain sentence on why a careful reader would stop there.
- What was not examined
- The sections the review did not read, stated at the end.
Price
One document per review. Findings on screen only; nothing is published or shared.
